You are EXPECTED to be there. No exceptions.

You must wear a Fenwick Track t-shirt or sweat shirt.

If you do not show up on Saturday morning at 8:15 am at Concordia, the assumption will be that you have quit the team.

If you quit, of course, you have forfeited your track letter (or numerals).

Any questions? See coach McKinley.

Information on IHSA Sectional Meet, 5/23/09

IMG_2235.jpgThe sectional meet time has been changed once more. The meet is now scheduled for Saturday MORNING, 5/23/09, at Concordia.

More information on the time schedule, rain date, etc. will be posted later this week. A coaches’ meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.

As usual, the lineup will be posted after the deadline for teams to submit their final rosters. In this case, that will be after Tuesday.

ALL track athletes not participating in the meet are expected to help.

Mr. Beebe is the meet director and is in charge of the meet. Fenwick High School is the host of this meet. Worker assignments will be finalized on Monday and will be posted on this site.

If you can not make your work assignment, please bring in a signed note from one of your parents.

If someone in your family would like to help at the meet, please see one of the coaches.

Time for physicals for frosh, sophs, and juniors

medicalstuff.jpg Wednesday, May 27, 2009
9:00am to 2:30pm at a cost of $25 dollars.

Students will be able to have their physical exams done during lunch time, study hall time, physical education class or health class. Students are not allowed to miss any other classes unless they have permission from their teachers. Appointments are not made for physicals.

The health history section of the physical exam form will need to be filled out and signed by a parent and a student before the physical exam is given.

Physical exam forms are available in the student cafeteria, student services, the reception desk, in the health office and on the internet.

Students need to bring their physical examination forms and $25 to the lawless gym on May 27 if they would like to have a physical exam.

Please remember that no athlete can participate (tryout, practice or compete) in interscholastic sports without a current physical exam being on file in the health office. Athletic physicals must be completed for every year that a student will be participating in sports. A freshmen physical exam counts for the freshmen year of sports only.
